Article 22 Measuring

Measuring points

Only one player per team may measure. The umpire's measurement is final and cannot be appealed on facts.

Article 24 Measuring

Moved or removed boules

Boules moved during measurement are placed back. In doubt, the umpire's judgement applies.

Article 8 Terrain & circle

The circle's placement

The circle must be at least 1 m from every obstacle and at least 1 m from another circle in play.

Article 7 Throws & jack

Distance to the jack

The jack is valid at 6–10 m from the circle's inner edge. Throws under 6 m or over 10 m = invalid.
